And no major retailer will sell "AO" games as they feel it will give them a bad reputation. There is only like 20-odd games rated AO out there right now, and 95% of them are rated that due to them being sex-based games or having too much sexual content to get an "M" rating. When you mention an "AO" game to someone, they immediately think of pornographic content. Same as if you mention an NC-17 movie to someone, they automatically think porn. Manhunt 2 is the only game rated "AO" out there due to violence.
So major retailers fear if they stock Manhunt 2, they are advocating AO games or pornographic content. And no, they won't make an exception for MH2, even though there are way more gory games (and better looking too) than MH2. It's all politics.

Also, yep original Manhunt 1 has nothing openly censored BUT, Manhunt 2 was testing the waters for a non-sex AO game, not the first Manhunt game, ooo, little tidbit there.
