This is how got MANHUNT working on Windows 7-64bit

Had trouble getting this game to work proper on Windows 7-64 bit
keept crashing in tuturial at a gate
now it works fine with Windows 7 been told it also works with Windows 8
patch and a crack :-)

Just download this winrar
which will have 'Manhunt Patcher 2.1 + Crack and instruktion file'
unrar and follow instruktions

'Manhunt on Windows Vista and Windows 7 Patcher 2.1

This new 2.1 version of the patcher moves away from the unpredictable hex edit method to a new and fool proof method by Microsoft to change the DLLCharacteristics of a file.
The best part is that you no longer have to disable DEP! Just simply select your Manhunt folder and it will patch your exe to work on Windows Vista and Windows 7.
Here are some default locations,

For retail versions, it should be C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Manhunt
For the Steam version, it should be C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\manhunt

The current version of the patcher is 2.1

.And copy the crack over in the folder the game is installed in it will ask if you want to replace crack with exe?
say yes.

If you dont use the crack
you will not be able to get thru the gate after your second game kill in the torturial level at the basketball cort
.And the game will just crash after a little while'

Because if you dont crack it you will not be able to get past the gate in turturial round.
Why it is like that i do not know?

is it when you try to unrar the winrar file you get this message?
.Cause the crack it self should not be opened it should just be copyed over in the folder in the folder the game is installed in

Ive reinstalled this at least 5 times and get this error message every time.

hhmmm i dont know what goes wrong there ? :-(
Maybe right click on game in libary and chose properties and veryfy flie cahes
so it checks if the game is dowloaded proper on steam with all the files the game needs

It says everything is proper and i just tested manhunt again and still i get stuck at the gate :(

Ok you patched and cracked it like it said in my instruktions?

I have one last idear which is something i also did but dont know how important it is to do?
go to your game folder right click on Manhunt.exe icon chose properties
chose combatibility
and mark the box run this game in compatibility chose 'Windows XP service pack 3'
and chose use

i have windows 8, is this a bigger problem? ur saying thats a windows 7 patch

I dont know if theres problems on windows 8 with the game?

Try getting the file from some site like http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?binkw32 for example.Then put it next to the games exe.Could fix it

Thank you very much, worked great. I have windows 7 32 bit and was getting the crash after killing the first guy. So as long as you guys follow the instructions in the .RAR file, you should be fine :)
