Is this game scary?

It's the only R* game I don't have on Steam so I'm wondering if I should get this as well.

Depends on what you find scary, it can be suspensful and in your face at times but really it wont make you hide under your chair.

What I mean by that is, it never gives you a moment of feeling safe, you will always feel very on edge.. no time to stop and relax :)

I would start with manhunt 2 but, it has nicer visuals and is more violent and very disturbing, that said Manhunt 1 is still a fantastic game.

Totally worth buying for its price and hours of fun and gameplay. WAYYY easier on PC then on PS2 but dont let your guard down.... EVER

it's not a horror game per se, it's a snuff film turned video game. i'd describe it as violent/gore/slasher/twisted/disturbing but not so much "horror".
