Manhunt

Manhunt

What The ♥♥♥♥ is wrong with Rockstar Games?
For some reason, they are selling us the pirated versions of Max Payne and Manhunt on the official Steam platform. Why is that?

Manhunt on Steam is broken with a lot of traps for pirate players, but those who buy the game officially also get affected by the system. I played this game when I was a little kid, downloading the cracked version, and it worked well. But now that I have the money and I bought it to play, there are too many traps or "glitches". Also, the pirated version was clean, no virus, I guess.

To play this game, you need to install third-party software, risking your computer with malware, virus, or worse. Rockstar Games doesn't care about their customers. Max Payne is a bit broken in some parts and you need to download third-party software, but most of the time the game works fine. Manhunt is completely broken with traps because the game thinks that you are illegal or a pirate user, even if you buy the game.

Also, Rockstar Games treats other games poorly for the customers, always prioritizing money first like in GTA 5 online's bad optimization or security risk when playing online. We need to protest about this and remove the anti-piracy system or fix it for Steam. Maybe in the future, they'll re-release it on Epic Games and it will be broken again, haha.

Most of the time, anti-piracy software only harms those who buy the product legitimately, since most of the time the pirates manage to defeat the system by getting rid of it.
idk if rockstar is going to fix it because this game dont make enought profit for them or they are too lazy

Also, we need Manhunt 2, even if it's still broken, but I want to believe that Rockstar will fix it or the community will do it. Anyway, if Rockstar Games doesn't release Manhunt 2, then I am going to download it for free on those Chinese websites on an old laptop. And if they release the game but it's broken because of anti-piracy or bad budget, then I am going to download a third-party fix.

the probleam with users pirating the game is because the service is bad for the customer, its true that even if your service is good people will still pirate it but less
i dont pirate games anymore cuz i have money and enough games, not gonna risk my pc getting infected but also because steam gives customers good service
♥♥♥♥ you rockstar

Are you talking about Manhunt or Manhunt 2?
I would suggest every player report Rockstar's broken Razor 1911 executable cracked version of Manhunt to Steam's customer service, and suggest Valve to introduce a new policy to prohibit games using cracked executables from Warez groups, including 3DM, CLASS (CLS), CODEX (CDX), CONSPIR4CY (CPY), DEViANCE, DrinkOrDie (DoD), Echelon, EViLiSO, EVO (EVOLUTiON), FAiRLiGHT (FLT), Hootlum (HLM), The Humble Guys (THG), HATRED, HYBRID (HBD), International Network of Crackers (INC), Kalisto, maVen, Myth, PARADOX (PDX/PARADiSO), Phrozen Crew (PC), Pirates With Attitudes (PWA), Project X, Rabid Neurosis (RNS), Radium, Razor 1911 (RZR/RazorDOX), RELOADED (RLD!), REVOLT, RISCISO, SKIDROW, Steam Underground, STEAMPUNKS, Superior Art Creations (SAC), Tristar and Red Sector Incorporated (TRSI), United Software Association (USA) and ViTALiTY (VTY); basically prohibiting cracked executables from all the scene groups active from the late-1990s to late-2000s.

I bet reporting Rockstar's broken executables to Steam's customer service would get Valve to update the storefront policy to prohibit cracked executables from being sold on Steam in the future, and to teach Rockstar a lesson about not selling cracked executables.
