If anyone wants to update San Andreas to epic visual standard download this File

It converts textures lights etc and makes the game look even better than GTA 4 works with Steam version of the game but you have to run it from the game folder exe once you have installed the files.

Guide this is what I did
Step 1
Back up original steam folder to somewhere else
Step 2
Copy everything from the Ultra HD Folder in the download into San Andreas Root Folder
Step 3
Copy 1 of the files from the ENB Series into the root folder
Step 4
Run the game from the exe file in the game folder done

just the san andreas folder

all i will say is its crashed a few times i need to figure it out on how I can get the compatability so it works better with windows 7 but its great


@gekko all you do is install gta on steam normally then copy the ultra folder in the gta install folder in steam then you copy 1 of the enb files into the gta san andreas weather you want it on low medium high ultra graphics then you delete the steam exe files as you run it from the new exe files you will have in the install folder.

the game will not run through the steam client it runs from the exe folder in the san andreas root folder.

Gekko have you downloaded the file on the first post I put up, the Ultra HD Folder is in the files you copy all the files from that into your steam folder.

have you extraced the win rar firstly to see all the files in the download?

No, but i can't install San Andreas Multiplayer in gta san andreas folder from steam,and i want to know if i can install it in gta san andreas backup which i will do...That's all i want to now,if i can install SA-MP and Ultra HD in gta san andreas folder from steam or i need to do a backup!

I am not 100% sure if the SA-MP and Ultra HD will work together in the steam folder but you may as well try to see if it works.

If u have sissues with the mod try this can help with game crashes.

Follow the steps below

Contol Panel - System - Advanced System Settings - Advanced - Performance / Settings - Data Execution Prevention - Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select - Click on add then go to san andreas and click on the exe file - Apply then ok.

If the game crashes it goes back to windows and you can maximise the game screen again works upto 2 times for me and if it does it third time it may freeze game.

@Revolt I have only installed the HD mod for the single player I do not play multiplayer, the mod is not 100% compatible with windows 7 as it crashes quite a bit, the mod is actually quite simple to install all tho the tutorial in the mod does not make sense, my opening post gives the instructions in a simple way to how I installed the mod.

Thanks, it worked. But Ultra ENB is really ugly.

Late to the thread .. but i got it to work.. but the shadows are extremely grainy, making night time almost impossible to see.. did anyone else see this?
