Mouse doesnt work in windows 7

I dont know what's wrong, mouse for this game,doesnt work. At the start of game it shows black screen with music playing. In the game, the mouse doesnt work. The first two times I changed mouse settings and it worked fine. But when I started again, the controls goes to default. It is so annoying. Now I changed the mouse setting in game, it still doesnt work. Anyone else has this problem?

Same here, mouse works in the menus but does nothing in the game. Windows 7 Home Premium.

I got a fix buddy, do this: go into steam common folder, find the gata-sa.exe, right click, properites, compatibility, run in windows xp service pack 2, disable visual themes and desktop composition, run as admin. now everything works fine. Enjoy!

My mouse suddenly stopped working this morning and I tried this fix. It didnt help anything, infact all my save games got erased. I guess this game really doesn't want me to enjoy it.

If XP service pack 2 does not work do win 7 that is what worked for me.

Yesterday I could use the mouse. But today, I was surprised that the mouse did not work any more. What happened? My 360 controller was plugged in and it was messing with the games controls, as soon as I unplugged it, I could use the mouse in the game just fine.
