-works the same except it is in the Steam/Steamapps.common folder.
That is the file path for your Steam games.
You can also just go to your Library and right click San Andreas go to "properties" go to the "local files" tab and "browse local files". This will take you to the game system files where it located at on your main drive. Usually C:/

This is where I go to a lot. Read the installation instructions like everyone else and you will be fine.
Some mods you will need to download a extractor like winrar or 7zip to extract the files. Both are free.
More information here for how to install mods. I would read it if your new to moding period.

The best part about games with workshops on them is they are still modded for and fans will always support the game with modding capabilities. Two big moddable games I can mention would be Minecraft and Skyrim. Mods can add a lot of replayability and new stuff. Imagine new businesses, new radio stations, new missions. New safehouses, cars, guns. I've seen a lot of good looking mods in my search, it just seems a shame I'd rather not risk downloading a virus to use them.
Besides all that, GTA San Andreas is one of (if not, the) best GTA game I've ever played, but it could definitely use a bit more content.
