User Tracks.
Can't get the thing working for some reason.

I've read up on it, even looked up tutorials on youtube. I replicate what I've learned and the User Tracks radio station insists on playing commercials over and over and my music never comes up.

I copied shortcuts of mp3s into the "documents/gta san andreas user files/user tracks" folder, started up the game, scanned the tracks in-game, got in a vehicle, tuned to the station, and it would just go on forever with commercials.

Can anyone confirm how to do this successfully? Playing on a PC with Vista.

I tried the shortcuts and it did not work for me either, so I just copied the mps"s and pasted them in the user tracks folder. I then rescanned and it worked but still plays a commercial sometimes.

In case anyone is still expiriencing problems with the user track system, I found that rather than putting using the GTA folder in C:\Users\[USER]\Documents, putting them in C:\Users\Public\Public Documents works perfectly.

Just remember to scan for the media in the application. This is from a Windows 8.
