3.0 was the Steam version before the recent 2 patches and includes the old soundtrack. Enjoy!!
I was hoping to keep the support for the X360 gamepad, though. Does 3.0 contain that support?
Nope. But Xinput or Ginput can give you controller support and so on.
I tried Xinput when I first purchased the game and I kept running into countless problems, so I gave up. Guess I could give it another shot since it's been a few months.
Sorry you're having to jump through hoops then!
But the 3.0 downgrader is what you want as it gives you the music back and is super-easy to use. Unless you want mods, in which case I'd recommend using the 1.0 downgrader. The link Silent posted has all the info. you need.
I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for a way to modify current radio stations, to re-add the music, without downgrading, but I'll use his patch if it comes down to it.
The Silent Patch is different to the 3.0 and the 1.0 downgraders just in-case you didn't know.
All the 3.0 downgrader does is it reverts your game to how it was before the 2 recent Steam patches screwed everything up for most players. Silent Patch however fixes a range of issues within the game from technical to gameplay to visual, etc..
You're very welcome :)
