I also suggest MTA, Do not judge it by its cover,
it was better in opinion after I tried it
Why do you not like Silent Patch (just curious)?
As for MTA and SAMP - both have pros and cons, although I have spent less time with MTA. It seems SAMP's more popular too but you are right: don't choose something just because the majority says it's good.
Silent patch does not work with SAMP.
Atleast for windows 8 (DEAR GOD ONLY MTA WORKS WITH WINDOWS 8 HELP WINDOWS 8)
Not fully probably but I think Silent made it more compatible than it was in the past.
Unless SA-MP got an update recently, but I doubt it.
