GTA SA Resolution and start problem

so I can start the game but can't set the resolution so I use a tool from nvidia so I can set the resolution and wen I do that I can't start game so what do I need to do?

When you start the game, you should get a pop up asking what resolution to run the game at. Then once the game loads you should get a choice of resolutions up to whatever you put in the launcher.
