Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas

GTA SA ModLoader
Is the ModLoader works with the GTA SA Steam executable version ? Well, after some downgrading of course.

If you used the 1.0 downgrader from the "Silent Patch + Downgraders" thread on this hub, yes.

Well, i already tried to install ModLoader but when i open my GTA SA there's a message said that the game is not supported "UNKNOWN GAME". So, how could it be possible ?

Hey! Did you replace your game's .exe at some point?

You had a clean Steam installation and you just downgraded to 1.0 and that's it?

The last thing I'll ask is: do you have an ASI Loader applied to your game (Modloader's dependent on it) and what mods do you have?

I honestly haven't used Modloader for that long and I'm still pretty new to it but this error relating to Modloader on Google points to a bad SA folder... which is why I'd suggest a complete reinstall -- delete San Andreas folder, "Delete Local Content" via. Steam library, then reinstall via. Steam library.

[EDIT]:

Oh and which .exe are you starting the game with? The 1.0 downgrader creates 2 shortcuts: GTA-SA.exe is the shortcut that Steam uses and GTA_SA.exe is the retail shortcut (the one you should use in this case).

[Oh, I didn't realized there wero two .exe files. But, i use the .exe file from the Steam folder, and of course i didn't know which one is the .exe file from Steam or from the retail store. And also i already applied the ASI Loader to my GTA SA directory files. And now i'm redownloading GTA SA files again.Maybe i will send you some screenshot after I finish the download, maybe i will contact you if the problems still exist. But for now thank you for the advice.
