Mission Freezes
In the mission Burning Desire where you have to burn the house and save the girl, my game always freezes as it goes to the cut scene and I can't advance in the game. Can anyone help? Thank you

Are you playing with frame limiter disabled? If so, enable it.

I enabled it and it still freezes

I THINK I have read after this issue somewhere, but it was happening only with Things To Do in San Andreas mod iirc... you're on a clean game, yes?

Yes I am. It just goes black and it doesn't do anything. You can hear CJ singing whenever he's standing still though

Oh, that's an odd one. Sounds like some models may fail to load... I assume you did try verifying the game's cache?

At what part it freezes EXACTLY? I'll check the code, that should make guessing easier.

I replayed the mission and there's no fadeout parts when you're inside the building at all. Or it won't fade from black BEFORE you enter?

Maybe grab a screenshot of the place before the freeze or so, dunno. Still seems like an odd issue.

EDIT:
NVM, looks like Google has plenty of reuslts regarding Burning Desire black screen... let's see.

When I was playing, I picked up the extingusher myself so the cutscene never played. Maybe try it.


EDIT2:
According to some topics, it might be caused by cheats. Used any?

you gotta pick up the fire extinguisher instead of using the one in your weapon cheat code!! Exactly same issue I met！

Bro I'm playing this game now just for nostalgic purposes and I was really upset cause of this crash and your solution worked, thank you so much my g may God keep you happy
