Which Gym Equipment To Use?
Treadmill or stationary bike? Bench press or dumbbells? What is the difference?

Well the bike and treadmill will increase the muscles on your legs, dumbbells and bench press upper body. leg muscle is mostly stamina building. upper body is strength when punching

Yeah, but is there a difference between using the bike and using the treadmill for example?

Well you can't fall off the bike, so I always use that, the bench press allows you to use larger amounts of weight, but i dont know if it makes a difference.

I find the bike is easier for stamina training and dumb bells are easier for muscle training. However it might mean that the bench press and treadmill train your skills faster I'm not sure.

Seems like stamina level has no effect on the treadmill. Even at max stamina I can't maintain level 7.

just started a new game at the start of the week.
and i just built up the muscles and stamina of CJ

the difference is the ease of use vs effect.
treadmill and bike reduce fat and increase stamina.
mill is more difficult (level8+ is hard to even stay on it) but it is more effective.
the same is with bells vs bench. both bring muscles. bells is easier but bench is more effective.

but the difference of the equipment in each "group" is not the same.
for example the mill is way more effective, so i recommend using it on level 6. (max dist about 5100 - german version) brings more than the bike on level10 (max dist 12500 - german version)
but the benefit of the bench is not as huge as that it would make it recommendable.
I recommend the bells with half the max weight (22kg - german version) and until you have approx 1/3 or 1/2 of the max muscles and then you can go with the max (44kg - german version)
you can do about 40reps everyday max, and it builds up very fast.

this is based on my own observations and experiences.
I never did anything like a study.

The harder you work the faster your stats will go up
