Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas

Seriously, San Andreas doesn't work on Windows 10
I had a 2000 dollars that could't launch the game after I installed Windows 10. I didn't do anything after trying out the new Windows, I just couldn't launch San Andreas anymore.

Then I updated the Nvidia drivers, nothing helped. Then I made a reset on my laptop and still San Andreas doesn't work on Windows 10.

Then I bought a new laptop again and still San Andreas doesn't work on Windows 10. I want my money back if this doesn't get solves Valve/Steam!

How come Vice City and GTA 3 work with no problem???

Try this fix:

Go to My Documents > Click on "GTA San Andreas User Files" > Highlight the file named "gta_sa.set" > Delete the file.

All this does is remove any customised options you've made prior to or during game time (such as graphics, audio, controllers etc.), so you'll have to repeat this process every time.

If you want a better solution than the above, I'd recommend downloading the GTA San Andreas SilentPatch, which allows the Steam versions of GTA San Andreas to enter true 1080p widescreen while fixing the majority of these issues.
i bearly bought the game it finished downloading and i click to run it a window pops up saying it will install and closesk, how can i get my money back>?

Delete Local Content > Download again = Fix or Wait a week or so then do the 1st step OR run in Windows 95 Compatability

Look I didn't touch anything. I actually bought a new Windows 10 laptop this time for 2000 dollars and just installed San Andreas from Steam directly. Nothing else... and the game won't launch. Simply as that. How can this happen on a brand new/fresh laptop? Everything is updated too.

it wouldnt be the laptop, it would be because ur running an old game with modern techonlogy (windows 10, new laptop stuff, ETC). SA isnt well optimised for modern systems, u could try windows 7? or try changing the compatibility?

There must be something else wrong with your computer. I have windows 10 and it works perfectly.

:D How can it be my computers fault??? I first had a Lenovo for 1500 dollars where I just simply downloaded and installed San Andreas where it wouldn't launch the game later on. Then I bought another brand new laptop for 2000 dollars and did the same thing. The game won't launch.

DirectX and all the other Windows and graphics stuff are update too. I've been working in the biggest electronic store in Denmark for 7 years now, I would know if the laptop had a problem.

Or else it's my Steam account but the other games do launch without any problem.

Okay now the game works. I got another problem now :D why the heck can I not click on "Start Game" on the main menu with my mouse? I can only click on it with the arrow keys and Enter. But you also cant shoot now when the mouse cant click. I also had this problem om my last PC with Windows 10 :D
