Tried to run in compability mode; set to Windows 98/ME - Not working
Compability mode in Windows XP Service Pack 2 - Worked once, no intro video.
Also I'm having gta-sa.exe set to "Run as Administrator" in compability tab of file properties.
Tried to set steam.exe to "Run as Administrator" as well.
Both were installed in default locations.
:: gta-sa.exe ::
(C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto San Andreas\gta-sa.exe)
:: steam.exe ::
(C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steam.exe)
Maybe installing directly in another directory rather than "Program Files" folder? Worth of a try... :D
This is so dumb if Windows 10 is latest (and maybe last) version of Windows OS! And if Microsoft quits someday supporting any other Windows operating systems (Like XP) how can we even run programs or software which we users still own?
--- Sorry for being off topic ---
In Win 8.1 GTA San Andreas worked well with little simple steps. But now on Ten it can't even breath.
And yes, I've done lots of googling to solve problems like this. Do the DEVS work for money or people? Maybe both no one can ever know....
*** Edit ***
Seems like running gta-sa.exe in compability mode set to "Windows XP Service pack 2" and running as administrator somehow get's the game to work. Only final problem is the mouse.
Last time, in Windows 8.1 game worked fine because compability mode were set to "Windows 98/ME". Now on Windows 10 this type of fix is somehow not working yet. (Maybe later there will be an updated build of Windows 10 with various bug-fixes)
GIVE A TRY to delete "gta_sa.set" in "C:\Users\*username*\Documents\GTA San Andreas User Files" and to see if it helps for mouse fix!
Hope's this helps.

In win8,1 everything worked fine with compability mode set to "Windows98/ME"
I found one solution, WHICH I DO NOT SUGGEST AND I'M NOT RESPONSIBLE OF! YOU MUST AGREE THAT ANYTHING IS DONE BY YOUR OWN FREE WILL AND CHOICE AND ITS NOT MY FAULT IF YOUR COMPUTER BLOWS UP! YOU CAN ALWAYS LOOK FOR ANOTHER FIX.
ANYTHING BELOW IS UP TO YOU!

The intro screen comes up but then it says that gta sa has stopped working.
I am running the game in compatibility mode for windows xp service pack 2 and running it as admin and still the same problem
also MTA (mp mod) is working
