Although the weird bug on PC that made the drivers in traffic extremely aggressive was pretty fun. You nudge them slightly and they'd spend eternity hunting you down
This reminds me of why I had to buy a controller for other game(s) like MGSV:TP. The Left Joystick on controller would allow you to move at max speed of sneaking depending how far you throttle the joystick, while on the Keyboard you hold LCTRL to sneak, but the sneak speed while using LCTRL is fixed at a very slow speed so you couldn't reach certain targets/objectives fast enough without being loud; which is why I'd have to switch between controller and KB+Mouse for certain parts of the game. It really makes game play a lot more fluid when you have the correct controls setup for the game.
Agreed
My mind was blown with Gta3, SA just expanded and the map layout is worse than 3 or VC
"Then i go to Z to start a toy plane mission with abysmal controls" - use mouse settings with mini gun much easier then controller. or slow your cursor speed down and click spray over spray and pray its easier or as stated above "you just suck"
driving test where i also couldnt figure out the controls to pass it because of poor explanation - game menu controller overlay options and read on foot/vehicle/plane : gas, brake, hand brake, and nos. No need for camera controls during test
i would call all this my first bump in the road and the swimming is kind of a grind. That is why i collect the LS island oysters and steal the Dodo at LSA, for some flying xp from LS to SF. Also between the two places you can collect several weapon packages. They respawn in single player when you go from countryside to ls or vice versa etc.
"**ALSO Obtaining an oyster, as are other collectibles in the game, awards the player $100. Collecting all 50 oysters grants the player a $100,000 reward, maximum lung capacity, and a perk where the player can begin dating new girlfriends regardless of the player character's appearance or sex appeal**"
Katie Zhan - CJ can get out of the hospital for free, retaining all the weapons after dying.
Michelle Cannes - Michelle's Auto Repair can be used by CJ. It works like a Pay 'n' Spray but for free.
Barbara Schternvart - CJ won't lose his Weapons or Body Armor after being Busted.
Helena Wankstein - Access to her tool shed, with a Chainsaw, Flamethrower, Molotov Cocktails, and a Pistol inside.
Denise Robinson,Millie Perkins - No Benefits
all women give clothing reward but Millie and access to there vehicle
SA was unimaginable to everyone at the time, but it's not the second coming of Christ like some people want to pretend it is
Probably prefer Vice City now because a lot of the busy work that I used to be engrossed in is cut out and I can just focus on the story and traversing the smaller environment. San Andreas's world design feels a bit convoluted and messy now and I didn't enjoy travelling as much as I used to.
100%'ed SA 20 years ago was so good but I don't think I'll see this one through to the end again even only doing the main story missions. It's definitely an iconic game of its time that will forever go down in history but I feel like I've outgrown aspects of it and aren't as tolerant of some design choices that used to be the norm.
