save failed

i can't save my game, it keep saying save failed

Use Windows XP compatibility mode and it should be fixed. If not, also try running the game as admin.

Open the Game Folder:

-In your Steam library, right-click on GTA San Andreas and select Properties.
-Go to Installed Files and click Browse. This will open the game folder in File Explorer.

Set Compatibility Mode:

-In the game folder, locate the gta-sa.exe file.
-right-click gta-sa.exe and select Properties.
-go to the compatibility tab.
-check the box for tun this program in compatibility mode for: and select Windows XP (Service Pack 2) from the dropdown.
-hit apply and then OK.

Run as Administrator:

-In the same compatibility tab, check the box that says run this program as an administrator.
-click apply and ok again.

Launch the Game
