Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas

Corrupt game by changing graphics settings?
So my friend and I were tying to change the graphics so it would go widescreen and actually fit my desktop screen when all of a sudden, the entire game transparant and after force closing it it refused to open back (options were 1280x720, 32 bit color res, mipmapping on, frame limiter on, visual FX was on, antialiasing was off)

1 . Install both ASI loader and Silent Patch:

Silent Patch Changelog: http://www.gtagarage.com/mods/show.php?id=25368

2. Delete gta_sa.set from GTA SA User Files located on documents.

3.Install Directx "Legacy" https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8LbAz0y6E-jVHc1N3FJeVZJczA/view?usp=sharing

I still wonder why M$ wouldnt bundle the latter with Windows

All i had to do was delete the .set file i just didn't know where to find it i expected it to be with the rest of the game files
