Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas

I'm about to pull my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hair out
Ok got the game all up and running on my steam deck modded. Nothing fancy just have the downgrader, silent patch, and the widescreen fix. Problem is, I can't figure out how to fix the controls. I switched to multiple player custom control settings, tried default configs, went through the menu and changed controls there, but there is always something messed up with certain buttons.

I tried the most popular custom configuration by "m3tabolic" but A and B buttons are switch and the start button won't work. Tried switching them then I find that the A button is now tied to handbrake or something. Tried using just the default configs and the game doesn't recognize half of the buttons on the steam deck, mainly the direction pad and the triggers. Then I can't switch the side views of the camera while in a vehicle to the triggers so I can have the handbrake be one of the bumpers instead. The settings button keeps switching to one of the letter buttons randomly it seems as well. D pad can't get it to work unless it completely disables all the other buttons.

This is getting beyond infuriating I just want the game to use the freaking buttons on my steam deck like they should but it seems once I figure out one control issue 2 more pop up.

Any help would be appreciated as I would like to revist one of my favorite childhood games but the stupid deck control layout is just not working, despite on the steam deck settings it says that the game should not have these control issues.

Does this restore the radio songs that were taken out?

also, you need to add these launch parameters GTA SA if you're on steamdeck/linux: WINEDLLOVERRIDES="bass, vorbisFile, vorbisHooked=n,b" %command%

Welp, I did all that, still doens't work. Gonna try one my time before I just say ♥♥♥♥ it and play this on my normal pc because this crap is exhausting.

What is the libraries section? Visual C and DirectX? Do I choose 1 or the other? Do I chose both? Are these needed for Steam deck since it's Linux?

It says on the link that the mod doesn't crash as much anymore, so what's the point of the libraries?
