I think it was pre 2014, it was back when I was tried to reinstall the game and the saves were poof. Does that mean it's gone for good? :< idk where to check it, though. I don't have the game installed now either.
there is some GTA San Andreas User Files. Idk what are those files, though.

what this patch does??
Also, I'm not sure on which OS I must install GTA:SA now. I used to play on XP before, no lags at all, although there were some bugs with sound when it start raining in game, plus automap was a big buggy (couldn't always decrease\increase in it's size once used mousescroll). I still have XP and windows 7 64, but 7 is a bit laggy for me for other games.

So I can play GTA:SA both on XP and 7 without any lags at all, bugs, errors and glitches like same rain sound bug or have buggy mouse scroller to increase\decrease size of map? Can I move saves between XP and 7 folders and make them still work?
I was more curious if the game is supported BOTH on XP and 7, and if the patch will not screw over 7 AND XP too. There is a chance I will try to play on both OSes. What you meant by "download a new savegame"?
