Keyboard unresponsive/not working in GTA San Andreas

When I loaded up SA, the mouse was working, but the keyboard was unresponsive at first, I felt like holding down the esc button to get to the menu, when the game asked me to hold "w" to pedal, I held it down for 2 miuntes and there was no response, I could exit the game however. My keyboard is a wired HP keyboard and so is my mouse. My pc was running windows 10 at the time. My hardware specs: GPU Zotac Geforce GTX 970, CPU: Intel Core i7 4790 @ 3.6GHz, Memory: 8 GB Corsair 1600MHz DDR3.

P.S there wasn't a problem and GTA Vice City was running smoothly the entire time.

While the mouse is usually the one not working try installing Silent's Patch

um the read me was quite not helpful, care giving some directions? I cant launch the game...

Extact both files and paste the contents on the main gta sa folder
