After all this time, it looks like they're doing some beta testing. Maybe we'll get a patch or something? Maybe Steam achievements?

Besides, so far the patch does not actually PATCH stuff. They fixed nothing featured in SilentPatch for instance, and the changelog has well around 40 entries by now! You would think they would fix at least some of these things when doing A PATCH. But no, they remove songs and add sloppy XInput support forgetting to make triggers pressure sensitive. And that's a tiny change in one function they added in PC version.

But I also know Rockstar's workflow and seeing 1.01 - 3.0 - 1.0r2 'progression' I am assuming they haven't fixed most of these. Sure, they might, but I doubt they will.

Yup totally agree, it makes no sense to take away from a game so perfect it is still one of the most highly rated games everyone still talks about! Heck its the only reason I still have my PS2 lol! And if its a license thing for music surely they would be cleared if they just keep it original? I may have been lucky but I have never experienced a glitch in game on PS2 before.. Bar falling into a pit on a cliff face and getting stuck.. All in a days work :P

Achievements are coming! Probably will be the same on Steam as the upcoming Xbox 360 version http://www.xboxachievements.com/game/grand-theft-auto-san-andreas/achievements/ :)

In Steam.db page of Mac version, new beta branch is named as "nomusic". And there's nothing releated to achievements at the moment.

Some of the pages in my country writing about the new edition remaster GTA SA which may appear on the Xbox 360 is confirmed by the published list of achievements. This may be the same version on which they operate achievements so why not? :)

So they are adding controler support, removing tracks AND IT STILL CANT BE PLAED 1080p OUT OF THE BOX
