Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Crashes on Startup

Ok, here's the problem. Whenever I try to start Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, it just crashes two seconds later. I only get to see a black screen, nothing else. I tried the possible solutions I constanlty see. Changing compatibility mode, running as administrator, deleting the gta_sa.set file (which I never found), reinstalling, etc. Does anyone have any other ideas? I need to know.

My computer specs are:

Processor: AMD E-300 APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics

Video Card: AMD Radeon HD 6310 Graphics

Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Edition (build 7600), 64-bit

Also try 'Disable desktop composition' from the executable's properties>compatibility tab if running in compatibility for Windows 98 with admin privileges doesn't work

I started having this problem recently. I fixed it by going into the game folder and setting "gta-sa" to run in compatibility mode for "Windows 98/Me".

You probably didn't read my original post. I said that I already tried changing compatibility mode.

Tried that out. Still just get to see a black screen for a couple of seconds before crashing. The only difference it made is that now, my desktop changes to Windows 7 Basic. So, I guess we got somewhere. :P

try deleting gta_sa.set on document of GTA San Andreas User File that could be the problem after you delete it startup gta sa then a new gta_sa.set will be replaced after you start gta sa up

just delete, and if the RGL ask for cloud sync, just skip
