A lot of silly assumptions. You don't know if the remaster will be rubbish.
It's certainly not the same as the mobile ports. Grow up. You are too quick to cry.

No, it's not a silly assumption. They are removing older versions of the game off every platform they can. They even state it in their FAQ: https://support.rockstargames.com/articles/4408282103571/Grand-Theft-Auto-III-Grand-Theft-Auto-Vice-City-and-Grand-Theft-Auto-San-Andreas-not-available-for-purchase

"With the October 8, 2021 announcement of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and the Rockstar Games Launcher, previous versions and bundles featuring these titles will be removed from console and PC digital retailers as of the week of October 11, 2021.

Players who purchased these titles previously will still be able to download and play them on their respective purchase platforms."

Remasters will probably use Android ports as base because the original PS2/Xbox code is apperantly lost (don't quote me on that, that is what I have heard). Android versions are known to be buggy and are notorious. I hope I am wrong but nothing beats GTA SA with silent patch and PS2 graphics mod.

I don't think that is the case. It seems Rockstar has handed the development of the game to the people who made the new halo remaster. They used the unreal engine to achive that, and I think they are going to do the same thing for GTA too. The unreal engine supports theses platforms (Switch etc) out of the box, unlike the mobile port which was a hacky fix of the OG GTA:SA game.

Saber Interactive is doing remasters?

Rock$tar could want 70 us dollars for the "definitive" trilogy, so whoever wants to buy the old games, get it while you still can.

Also, he says the mobile port is bad. That is the same game (they remove some music and add reflection, achievements to the game)
They also upgrade game texture over the year on mobile versions. (Original mobile release game was 1GB. But the current mobile version takes 2.5GB)

I just read this. I am fine with it. Even with patches they run terribly (especially SA, which you actually need to "de-update" to patch) so I'm looking forward to remasters. Of course, there is always the chance they screw with the gameplay and mechanics, which is a huge fear whenever a remaster is announced, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Id like to know what is the real reason behind this. Rockstar is ass sure, but they kept all their old games and even released them again over so many years, the only games ever delisted being Midnight Club due to both music and Car licensing.
If Rockstar is following trends of remakes [To point out, stop saying its a Remaster, its not, its using Unreal engine, its a Remake automatically, please anyone who thinks otherwise shut up] Then it makes no sense for them to remove old games especelly when even Original Mafia is there.
So most likely Rockstar is losing licences to soundtrack of the games [possibly even contracts with actors but i don't know if they have re recorded dialogue for Remakes] and many of them don't want to renew contracts for songs and acting, so they have to shut down, meaning all 3 Remakes will have different acting and music [not the dialogue itself, but again this is to how i understand it, don't know if it will be re recorded]
Or the labels and all don't want to be in the old games, but still want to contribute to Remakes meaning most music will stay but they don't want to be associated with old, which i know sounds extremely dumb, but its possible.
If there is a logical explanation then ill give Rockstar a pass [if the Remakes are quality which for Unreal engine i hope it is] but if its just because they don't want the old games, ill be both confused and irritated.

Xbox 360 version of San Andreas was based on Mobile ports. Highly likely this will be too. THIS IS WHY I fear for these "remasters".

licences/contracts are not the same in regards to music and actors. They are 2 completely different things even on a legal basis too. When you mention about the unreal engine and you imply that your right an everybody else is wrong, well you could be wrong. Nobody knows, that's the whole point...

Rockstar has insisted that these classic games are not remasters or remakes and should instead be considered as their own product despite suggesting the titles have been enhanced relative to their source material. Not to mention, Rockstar was going to give away these for free with the new GTA:V enhanced release, but that was canceled due to the negative response it got. The release date of the The Trilogy is around the same time as GTA:V enhanced release too, it kinda goes hand in hand. So, baring that in mind I personally don't think that the unreal remake is a real thing, but more like they are taking the base steam version of the game and fixing some common problems with it and instead of selling them individually they are going to sell them as a pack called "The Trilogy" like they did similarly with GTA:IV etc.
