New Open Source Unity Port of GTA:SA
I have already tested this myself the opensource version DOES require you to own a legit copy from steam here so you wont be breaking any laws

it just takes the content from the steam version and wraps a whole new engine around it (UNITY ENGINE)

I must say it really makes 1080p playable and multiplayer possible

this thing is insane but how do the things like physics and game mechanics work now?
why port a good game to a worse engine?
idk i just know pretty much every large unity engine game i have played tends to stutter or have weird fps areas

just activate frame-limiter in-game

thats seems like pretty modern spec not sure why you would be having any issues with fps on an old game like GTA:SA I would think that even in Unity Engine your fps would be well above 100 even this steam version I can not do the mission https://gta.fandom.com/wiki/Life%27s_a_Beach because my fps is too high and rockstar did not implement proper input so if they fix this in the Unity Port that would be even better

who said i have fps issues playing gta:sa? I dont. Because its properly optimized. Im wondering why anybody would port gta:SA to unity

why would anyone port any game to a different engine? and whats to stop them from doing it????

I think the main reason is so you can play GTA:SA multiplayer I actually have a GTA:SAU server up and running in seattle, wash right now
