Can't workout at gym

don´t turn it off, don´t ever do so it should be enabled at all times

what weights do you use? the heaviest ofc won´t work since your character is not strong enough

what game version are you using?

I use latest steam version,non modified

You sure the keys are shift and alt? For me when I played were if I remember correctly the numpad keys.

don´t play with the latest steam version its the worst original GTA SA version there is , downgrade to 1.0+ silents patch or to 1.1 that might not fix this problem but it will fix other problems coming up

yeah it's them i can press them for a sec and do a exercise but then they dont work no more

There is no reason to downgrade, it doesn't fix any bugs. The only difference is the steam version has some of the crappy music removed.

Honestly I just leave the radio off in the settings mainly because if I ever intend to record the game for YouTube I'll have to turn it off just to avoid getting copyright claimed on the music.

no steam version has bugs like inverted controls for dance minigames crashes in interioirs due to removed music, unstability in cutscenes and is in general a just way more washed down and bad version of the game

I do tap them,alt works for like a sec and nothing happens afterwards

The inverted controls are the only bug that is different than the 1.1 release because the steam version is based off the xbox version, not the playstation version. I've never experienced a crash in a cut scene or interior. Your assertion that it is 'way more washed down and bad version' is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
