Weird wave effect
I just downloaded gta san (rockstar launcher version) and I keep seeing this weird wave effect on the game and I'm not sure why. Sometimes when I change certain settings the mouse stops working in game. Here is the wave effect I'm seeing. https://gyazo.com/8d04ee656e4ed5435aa0eceb815fdbfd

Yeah this wavy screen can be a bit of a problem. Try turning on VSYNC and see if that fixes it? Also yes the mouse is a little buggy when changing setting. If your mouse stops working again, try reopening the settings menu and then closing with your mouse. Should fix the problem straight away.

Turning on vsync doesn't help and the frame is capped at 30 I think

Yeah so then that won't work. I had the same problem with my game and couldn't find anything to fix it. Maybe change some of your graphics settings?

its 25-5 frames and its supposed to be capped at that with the frame limiter, can´t help with R* version since it IS different to any of the steam releases

I always figured the wave was just san andreas in the middle of a heat wave.

Ive noticed that my mouse stops working when i have widescreen enabled. Disabling it, loading the game and turning it on seems to fix it. Just make sure you disable it each time you load the game after exiting. And the wave thing is heat effects thats supposed to be there.

These lines are heat wave effect, and make sure you downgrade the game and use silent patch to get the best out of the game.

It's a feature, not a bug. I'm serious

It happens when the weather is very hot

If you want to remove it here are the steps:

1. Go to this site: https://www.mixmods.com.br/2019/08/mod-mixsets.html
2. Download the mod.
3. Extract it using winrar or 7zip
4. Open the EN (English) file and read the readme on how to install it.
5. Open Mixsets.ini with notepad and Press Ctrl + F (Hold Ctrl and then press F)
6. Type NoHeatEffect
7. Change the 0 to 1
8. Save and close the file
9. Open San Andreas and enjoy

Note: Mixsets has over 300 options to change the game with a file size of less than 1 MB

nice try ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, virus tested this file after it got removed by my antivirus, turns out its a Portuguese trojan and or bitcoin miner. Point of story dont download san andreas mods from steam forums.

Chill dude, your AV only reported a false positive. Mixmods has a bunch of these mods for the older 3d GTA titles, not trojans. I have that one installed as well as others like SkyGfx and Widescreen fix.
