Problems with save
Hello, I downloaded GTA san Andreas yesterday, all happy to be able to the real gta (other than on iphone which is honestly not phew), I start the intro of the game (with the chase between CJ who is on the bike and the ballas drive) but at the time of going back up, there is an error message that says I can not save. Please someone can help me get really nice

this message says:
"Failed to backup! An error occurred while saving the current game. Please check your backup folder and try again."

It's possible that the game is unable to write to the appropriate save-game folder.


Troubleshooting this is going to take some time.

1) Run the game as an Administrator and then attempt to save.

2) Disable your anti-virus software (state which one you have); you may also want to completely uninstall it temporarily.

  • It's possible that your AV software may be blocking the writing process

3) Report what OS you're on. Try various compatibility settings.


4)
Try to delete the gta_set file.

Find the GTA San Andreas User Files folder.

Usually it is found in your Documents folder.

Then delete "gta_sa.set".

how can i run the game as an administrator?

right click "run as administrator"

There is not run as administrator when i make right click and when i want to go in "GTA San Andreas user files" there is not "gta_sa.set"

Reinstall it properly , enter gta sa, create a gamesave, after that u gonna get a gta_sa.set file in documents.
