For standard aero-planes, you'd need to gain a certain speed then press the the [up arrow key].
The aircraft will gain altitude after that.
The landing process will require the retraction of the landing gear the default keys are set on [sub mission]: which are '2' and Num +.
This applies to but is NOT limited to...
There are two modes...
[1] To enable hover the mode the default key is: Numpad 2
[2] To enable flying-mode the default key is: Numpad 8
[Note]: Either one of the following modes can be activated when the aircraft is stationary.
[Note 2]: Enabling flying-mode while stationary requires a 'take-off' so you'd need to gain speed and then lift-up.
To gain height, press and hold [W].
Once you've gained height, you can tilt forward to move forward, pressing the [Up arrow key] and hold down [W].
To tilt the heli to move backwards, you can press the [down arrow key] and hold down [W].
To stabilize the helicopter, you can press [Caps lock].
What this does is - that it causes the heli to be stop moving and be able to land while hovering.
All of these settings can be customized and changed to fit your preferences.
There, you can modify them accordingly.
You can enable / disable flying with the mouse.
I suggest that you disable it.
I have already disabled mouse for cars and been managing to find suitable keys for me. Thanks a lot for comment. I'll try what you said about airceafts too.
