Downgrade steam version to 1.01?

Is it possible to downgrade the Steam version to v1.01 and not 1.0? I want the patched version of 1.0 which is v1.01.

Why do you want 1.01? Sure, it's better than 1.00, but if you're going out of your way to get 1.00 you might as well mod the game to fix the bugs, which will be more effective than the 1.01 patch. If you're a purist like me and don't want to install mods, then you're better off getting the actual DVD version of the game (1.00 and then update to 1.01, or 2.00 which comes with the 1.01 patch) - this is because the downgrader actually cracks your game, meaning it's modified (thus, "impure").
