Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas

Dancing parts don't work (Lag)
The parts where you go dancing and you have to hit the right button when it passes through the circle is way too laggy, making it impossible to complete. Not sure why this is happening all of a sudden, it was working before.

Any ideas on how to fix this? I beat the O.G loc dancing mission and the Low rider hydrolic mission so maybe it won't be that big of an issue?

I don't know why games on PC keep breaking themselves, I never have these problems on the console.

I have the game on steam, yes. It doesn't say 1.1 for me tho on the main menu. How do I install it?

Restart your computer. This bug happens when your computer has been on for a long time.

Wow, That actually worked. Thanks

There's a reason people tell you to restart your computer whenever you're having weird problems in games :P.

The latest version of SilentPatch has a fix for this, as well as plenty of other things:

https://cookieplmonster.github.io/2018/05/20/silentpatch-r29/

It can be a little tricky to install on SA though, I hosed my install about three times trying to make it work. Eventually I found a downgrader that set it up (as well as GInput, which is all I really wanted) properly automatically. Upgrading to the new build was simply a matter of working out where the downgrader put the mod files (scripts/ in the SA folder iirc) and replacing the older versions with the new r29 ones
