How to install a reload mod?

Hello, I recently got GTA:SA on Steam and I'd really like to install a mod that allows you to reload. I have tried a few already but none work, mostly because they end up crashing the game (after loading a save or starting a new game). Does anyone have a solution for this?

The mod I tried can be found here[www.gtainside.com]. I followed the exact steps in the readme file, but to no avail unfortunately.

on the current steam version only minor audio and skin mods work

you should donwgrade the game to version 1.0 if you want full mod support
