Sensitivity bug
Every time the game restarts my mouse sensitivity reverts to default but everything else saves. Anyone got any ideas?

Silent patch fixes that iirc

I tried silent patch but it didnt work, i tried different compatibility aswell and running as admin but nothing seems to work. Its only the sensetivity that doesnt save, every other option saves perfectly fine

I attempted silent patch again but it didn't save the settings and made the screen black after the starting screen but increased my frames to around 2000

Delete your settings file (Documents\GTA San Andreas User Files\gta_sa.set). It'll reset your settings, but they should save properly from then on.

Tried that aswell, didn't work. Its only the mouse sensitivity that doesnt save each time. Everything saves perfectly fine but as soon as i restart the game my mouse sensitivity is like x10. Before i reset my pc I had a non steam version of the game and it never gave me this many problems

Yeah, i'v tried almost everything nothing seems to work. I even tried to uninstall the entire game and reinstalled and still does the exact same thing im not too sure what the problem could be..

Yeah, I'm not sure, sorry man. I used to have this problem on the Steam version too.

However, you should always keep your sensitivity at the default anyway, since changing it will just desynchronise your vertical and horizontal sensitivities - the bar only affects your horizontal sensitivity, without changing the vertical sensitivity.

well, you asked this a few years ago now but im going to respond anyway. maybe it helps you or somebody else.

somewhere in the game files there should be a script which establishes the settings, typically editable via windows notes or something. there you could probably permanently adjust any setting that acts that way.

just a theory, it works for other games, so it should this one.

enjoy your lives, ladies and gentlemen.
