Has anyone yet tried if you can play the COOP minigame mode of san andreas with the new feature out? lol

Yes, but you have to do some workarounds as San Andreas isn't supported by default. Like, take another coop game that can be launched without steam (but supports share play together), and rename San Andreas folder and .exe to match. Then you can send an invite and play.

Well, R* is famous for crappy ports, you have to mod it back into the PC version.

Then its not by default which is what you said, didn't even regard any version just said "San Andreas" like all of them didn't have it.

What I meant by default is support for Steam Share Play Together, not the actual coop mode.
