Half Life 2 was made for PC.

Grand Theft Auto San Andreas was made for PS2 and then ported to PC, the game is also open world and only has one loading screen through your play.

For some reason I got mixed up with the PS2 and the Xbox, haha, just woke up and a bit tired so can't think straight, well the Xbox was more powerful than the PS2 too.

yea but he was talking just about development

while half life 2 was a game developted on PC and later ported to consoles it has better graphics then GTA SA which was developed for consoles (PS2 for specific) and later ported to other consoles and PC

GTA: SA featured a massive playing field for 2004 not to mention several features within the game. GTA: SA focused more on content than it's presentation while HL2 focused more on the gameplay experience than showing off how much you could do (HL2 being an FPS, GTA being an open world game)
