Game Crashes When Opening Advanced Display Options Menu
For about a month now all settings for both GTA SA and GTA 5 will reset to default when I start the game up, and the game will crash when I open up the advanced display options sub-menu in GTA San Andreas. Everything was working fine before. I've tried running the games as admin, changing permissions for game files and settings files to give them full access, and even reinstalled windows 10 but the issue still exists. Has anyone had this issue or know of a way that could fix this which I have not already mentioned?

Odd that it happens for gta 5 too, is it set to read only on documents? Do you have an antivirus?

Full file access: read, write, etc... all enabled. No AV. Not sure how to know if it is loading the settings, I'd guess so. And I am running just a single 1080p monitor. There is honestly nothing out of the ordinary in terms of on my system, and it was all working fine a few months back. Could it be related to a Windows 10 update?

*BUMP* This issue is still occuring. My PC meets the system requirements, and I have no conflicting applications on my system (clean windows 10 install). If not fixed I will have no choice but to ask for a refund.

Hi there , i had a similar problem myself and i played around with a few things and found a fix. Go to your GTA SA directory and click on the 'modloader' folder . Drag it out to the desktop and open the game without it . Then go into display settings and choose your desired resolution etc . Once you are firm with the display properties you like , close the game and put the modloader folder back into the GTA SA directory . Open the game as normal and your problem should be fixed . I hope this helped , good luck. :)
