How do you turn off cheats?
Today I accidentally activated a cheat while driving around in my car, suddenly i was in a warzone. Policemen were killing everyone around me.

I think that's the riot cheatt. Load a save file, if you don't have one, get one online

Turned the game off and on again, worked. Just weird how easy it is to accidentally enter a cheat code.

How do you accidently type one? Most of the cheats require letters not used by the game. Stop smashing your keyboard!

There is this wonderful thing called WASD cheats. It's present in all 3D era GTA games. For speedruns, this makes the run null and void(cheating). In a normal 100% playthrough, you are likely to enter a WASD cheat by accident at least once.

I was driving a left turn after a right turn and using the handbreak (space) in between. I wasn't smashing random keys or anything like that.

Yep, I believe most 100% runners rebind a key to prevent them from accidentally entering a cheat mid run.

Yup. One such method is by using ESDF instead of WASD.
