Sure but with xpadder you can add controller support to any game in the way you want it, its very powerful and cheep xpadder is much better than the steam side

Yeah I've been wanting this a while, but waiting for official controller/steam deck support.

YES but the Steam integrated controller configurator does not allow you to make rotating profiles or Shift Buttons, u know u hit 1 button and it changes all your buttons on the controller, i dont think its that bad to program in fact found it very easy , but your correct some people might not like better options and might struggle in the Brain department, i mean hay they cant fix there own problems and blame the Dev so your correct, some people are lame and helpless

I would recommend against it currently, without proper controller support its messy and has real performance issues.
