Wrench bug

I came to Tall Tree Town and helped the blue robot, he "gave" me the wrench, but nothing happened, the item didn't spawn. Obviously I can't use it, since I didn't receive it. I know it's a short game but I'd like to play the whole thing, i was really enjoying it :/

If you hold down (or B on the controller) for a few seconds, did anything happen? The wrench doesn't show up in the UI I think.

I was playing on controller, i tried every button but i might not have held down B for that long. The wrench didn't even spawn, so i started over and got the same error. Ended up reinstalling the game and starting over one more time and it worked as intended.

I got the same bug. Wtf, which wrench??? you have to hold B and not DOWN . what the ♥♥♥♥, this game is all over the place

it's different depending on whether you're playing on a gamepad or keyboard and mouse. It's not a bug, you really got the wrench, but it's a bit unclear.

even tough I was playing on gamepad, it still told me to hold down

I held down and nothing happened
