Extremely poor performance
running this game on rig with i7-13700k, 32GB of DDR5 RAM. getting 5 or less frames per second after about. my kid says they played it fine for about 3 days and now just extreme lag and 90+% CPU utilization nonstop. Any clues? or how to report this to the dev?

i could get the framerate, somewhat playable by dropping everything to "low" or off in the graphics settings and dropping the resolution to 800x600. Question - how to determine if this game is actually using GPU HW acceleration?

uninstall and reinstall, remove all mods.
