Local multiplayer

Please help, I'm a bit of a noob! How do you play local multiplayer with this game please?

If you have two controllers I think you plug in both of them and then press start/back (may be pause or select on your controller).
If you have one controller and want one player to play using the keyboard, you have to go into the game settings and enable "P1 gampad".
You can start a solo game and have your splitscreen partner join there as well.

Sorry for late reply, thank you for your help. Rubberband games actually got back to me and explained the multiplayer options! We've really been enjoying the game, hope you like it to. :)

So, it only supports 2 local players!? I thought it said up to 4?

I assume you add more players by plugging in more controllers...

I can't get the game to detect my either of two Xbox controllers (I'm playing on PC) 🤷 if I go into options only player one shows but no controller movement options. Then, if I wiggle a stick on a controller it momentarily shows. I can't play 1 player with a controller, nevermind two.
Anyone got any idea? I do have a lot of devices plugged in to PC. Tobi Eye, two Virpil sticks, Virpil Pedals, button boxes, camera etc. They're all for playing StarCitizen and I'm unwilling to uninstall anything.

You don't have to uninstall anything, but it might be worth unplugging them momentarily to troubleshoot your issue.
I've had games that didn't work with a controller whilst my Razer Tartarus was plugged in, but as soon as I unplugged that it worked fine!

How do you close prompt windows on 2nd player? doesnt seeem to work
