Can we eliminate the timers on jobs?
My kids (aged 4 and 7) are playing this, and having a timer on the jobs is both annoying and stressful for them. Even I couldn't complete some of the tasks in the available time.

For a casual game like this, it makes absolutely no sense to make the jobs harder to accomplish by introducing time limits. If you want to reward skilled players, give bonus amounts for jobs "well done" rather than stressing out the kids that are just looking to have a bit of fun. And you can't skip the jobs without missing out of vital parts of the game (buying houses, character customization, etc).

if they just want to use the stuff then heres a tutorial on how to give them money
step one, open run (windows+r) and type in %appdata%
it will bring you to roaming so go back to appdata
step two, go to local low and find rubberband games > wobbly life > save > all the numbers > game saves > player slot 1 > and now player data 1, do not open player data one

now go to saveeditonline.com (if i recall) and drag and drop the file into it, where it says there amount of money, edit the value to how ever much you want them to have. Keep file explorer open, now download the edited one and put it into where the original one is, replace the original, now launch. And bam, they should now have plenty of money next time they play.

It would be nice to have the option to turn the timer off and on so that younger kids could take their time on jobs. My son is also struggling with the timers and there are some jobs that I won't even try because the time limit stresses me out.

I know this is an old post but I agree. It's not even just about kids, it could be a good option for those with disabilities who also want to just enjoy a casual game.

This still leaves the question: how would you let jobs without timers give money? If there is no timer, you basically cheat your way into infinite money. This is what all of you people seem not to understand. Also, apart from the Ice Cream job, the timers on all jobs are far from impossible. Just practice a little and you'll get good in no time.

I'm not sure how you mean "how would you let jobs without timers give money?" because in other games you'd just do the mundane task until you were done and press done/submit lol I have trouble finding a lot of jobs worth it - so I just stick to mining and get 100-300 monies every round so I'm fine sticking to that but there are a LOT of kids who play this game, I think it'd be worth applying game customization options. It's not that big of a deal imo lol Now when you mix disabilities with kids.. I don't need to explain how overwhelming and frustrating a timed job would be for a kid with autism. I doubt the devs will even think about adding a feature like that - they don't care and that's fine, it's their game. People obviously have opinions, there's no way to avoid that. I don't develop 3D games but I personally try to make my games/projects accessible to all users /shrug
When I first saw this thread, I assumed it was absurd. No. I have been playing video games since the 80s, including God knows how many GTAs and open world games, and I can attest that so far I've pulled two taxi missions that were literally impossible even ignoring the roads and efficiently cutting across the map. I bought this to play with non-gamers. Ridiculous.

Pizza delivery is impossibile imho.
I'm ok with removing timers from the game
Zitronecomic Apr 2, 2023 @ 8:49am
if you mean unlimited time no that shouldet be added cuz if you have unlimited time the pay shouldet be that high or shouldet be there at all you could make it so that the time you spent your money that you get will get decreased but removing the timer is stupid.

yeah, but timer is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up. I mean, timer goes too fast and imho it's a matter of FPS of the game.

Timer needs to be fixed in priority 1
