Play with friend option not working

I wan to play with my brother but i cant does anyone know how to fix it so i can play with my brother.

You have to host a game with the friend option clicked yes. Find the person you want to play with in your fiends list in steam, some where on the right side of the screen it says invite to server or something like that. Then the person you invited has to find you in there friends list in steam and click on join game or something like that.

its not working, I tried that, cant join my friend or have him join me

A friend and I just made the world open for everyone, then the world should be on the list where u can join. After I joined my friend he closed the map for all except friends and then we could play :D Hope that helps

Maybe i can help you with that problem. As I startet to play with my son, it wasnt working either. He was sad and closed the game. I tried it again with his game closed with the Steam invite, the game startet and it worked, he got directly to my town. Since then we always do it like that and never had problems with joining.
