Tested & worked! ***one minor problem*** Couldn't map the trigger buttons so i had to use the shoulder buttons so i could turn.

Connect controller via USB port direct or w/ USB adapter; use game controller config options to change buttons.

Just use a USB dual analog joystick (You can get ones that look exactly like PS2 controllers) Go into Control Configuration and firstly change from standerd to classic (or I think it's the other way round) So that the camera follows the player (like how it is on PS2) and then map out the buttons to the controls from the PS2 version. http://strategywiki.org/wiki/Grand_Theft_Auto:_Vice_City/Controls
