Unresponsive keyboard + mouse
While in game my keyboard + mouse will randomly stop working and I have to close my game through task manager to get it working again. There any fixes for this?

(I never had this issue with the non-steam version of this game)

I've tried
-Re-installing
-Resetting config
-Validating game cache
-Disabling the steam community

Note: I only experience this issue with Vice City and no other games. This is not a hardware issue at least not on my end.

hey there, got this solved by setting up compability mode to windows 98. all controls work fine

So I go through the steamapps/common folder to do this right?

or
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto Vice City

depending on 64/32bit windows

Right click gta-vc.exe -> properties -> compatibility tab -> tick box for compatibility and from dropdown box select "Windows 98/ Windows Me"

Now to fix the mouse keyboard option tick 'Disable Visual Themes' and tick Run as admin. Apply then launch game via steam and enjoy the game.
