Xbox 360 Controller Setup for GTA 3 and VC
For those using the Xbox 360 controller, I made these files to make using the controller easy and painless.

PLEASE NOTE: I configured the controls to mirror the PS2 style of play.

{LINK REMOVED}

Another note, it is from the Mediafire site.

BTW: Does not include the Xpadder program, just the controller file and the profile for the controller and the GTA 3 and VC settings files.

You will have to adjust your display settings accordingly.

How to adjust the display settings?
Ziero Feb 25, 2013 @ 1:49am
In your option settings, under Display.

When I try to open it I just get a "range check error". Any suggestions ?

Sorry, not real sure about that, never got that error before. Can't seem to find anything real helpful on the issue either. My apologies.

Would be great if you can give us a screenshot of your settings. I'm also getting the range check error.

Since I have noticed alot of players getting the "Range Check" error, I have decided to look into it. Apparently I use a different version of Xpadder than others, and that is what causes the error.

So, to help resolve this, I am sharing some screenshots for you guys.

Xpadder settings[www.dropbox.com]
Control settings 1[www.dropbox.com]
Control settings 2[www.dropbox.com]

These are the settings I use, and I find them absolutely perfect. They are basically the PS2 style of controls, because I was always more comfortable with those.

Not to revive a dead topic, but the dropbox has expired. Recently got a free old Dell Inspiron 1525 and wanted to play GTAIII. Getting the Range Error as well. Got an updated file? Thanks!

Get GInput instead, the results will be much better ;)
Ziero Dec 19, 2013 @ 7:45pm
I agree with Silent. The GInput mod offers a better experience. I had originally made this topic before I knew about GInput. Just Google GTA GInput and it shouldn't be too hard to find.

EDIT: To a moderator, I guess lock this, its not useful anymore. thx.

At the time you made this topic I haven't even thought about making GInput yet, so not a surprise you didn't know about it :P Hence my last reply didn't refer to the entire topic but only to the very last reply.

No need to use Google though, I've posted Guides about the mod for both III and VC.
