Plane controls.

So, I bought this game and after some issues with the keyboard I think I finally hit a wall.

I'm in the mission where you have to bomb some boats with a toy airplane, like the red baron, but it seems that the move forward key (W) is also the same key that brings the front of the plane up, so I end up accelerating, the plane gets lifting and then keeps inclinating until not having enough power to do a looping and take air, rinse and repeat.

Anyone knows what to do? Because the key bind editor only allows on foot and by car, no copters or planes.

W and S is up and down.
Q and E rotate.
A and D left and right.
Num Pad 9 and 6 control moving forward and backward.

Not really inuitive I know.

I changed the num pad controls for the up and down arrows of the keyboard, it works for helicopters but not for planes :(

Maybe revert the controls to default. The num pad works the same for planes.
Although took me ages to get used to pushing down to go up in a plane.

Thanks, will try it. Hope to god it works because if not I would never complete this game.

Just a little tip: cubans won't pay attention to your planes until you start to destroy their boats. So, you can just kill all cubans first — hit them by a plane few times or push them into the water (be carefull not to fall from pier). Then you can just put each plane to one of the boats near the pier and blow them up.
