Who can run this game?

I want "yes" or a "no" answers to get an idea of how many people can still run the original.

Edit: I finally got the game running again after a re-install and clearing the cache. But I do still get occasional bugs like a black screen for the intro sequence and not being able to click anything when in the menu.

I played for 3 hours straight, got to a mission.. game crashed and haven't been able to play it since. Not sure what the problem is. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, re-done the mods about three or four times now to no avail. Moved saved games folder, made a separate install without any mods, etc. Always get the same exception memory address error. I'm at a complete loss, and I was just getting back into the story pretty heavily :(

EDIT: oh holy I am in luck. After spending 10 more minutes I found the fix on YouTube. Apparently a file called "ddraw.dll" missing was the problem. Not sure how it ran for 3 hours without this file but now the game launches.

Worked great for me. I had a lot of fun playing all three.
There were some small graphical bugs, and the jet pack controls on SA are atrocious, but I don't regret my purchase at all.

Special kudos to the new drive-by controls and the improved mini map with the GPS. Very nice.

You are probably casual gamer. In remake you can't even rotate with helicopters with keyboard+mouse. Also many typos because of AI texture upscale. Broken physics. Broken ugly models. Also VC and SA are censored.

I beat the original Contra without the thirty lives code!
I beat the original Metroid without killing either Ridley or Kraid!*
I got my ass kicked at the original 2D Wolfensten! ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ammo crates!

I may be a pathetic loser whom no one will remember ten minutes after he dies, but a casual gamer I am not! 😆

*Get ice beam and use it to freeze a Skree in the statue room. You can then use that as a bridge to get across the gap into Tourian.

ps. Make it five minutes after he dies.

Tried it last year and installed a string of mods separately i.e widescreen fix, input fix and a couple of others which worked well but this time I just went with a wholesale patch and it runs great once more.

I wouldn't even want to try vanilla - was garbage even back in the day.

I just used the music patch and the face patch for #3. I tried the sound patch for SA and it didn't work.

I was fine with everything else.

ques...the gta vc, you have is it the orginal............... (before2013) or gta vc def
the only thinkg i can say that you need to ask rs for help
