Can't do Avery Carrington Missions

Before loading the cutscene for "Four Iron" the limo can get stuck on ramp if playing at a higher frame rate than 30 but even at the proper FPS, the game crashes in the fade to black.

It seems even the next mission "Demolition Man" also doesn't work and I know I'm not the only one with this issue based on what I've seen online. However, I can't find a solution.

Any ideas?

Have you got the frame limiter on in display settings?

Everything works fine until this specific issue.

I would guess that's likely the issue then as I've done all of them with no issues, I'm not using any mods at all.

Unfortunately last time I uninstalled to clear any mods for a fresh install, I lost my save. Without this modpack I encountered multiple issues:

* Game wouldn't even launch with the message "missing 640x480 mode"
* Crashes before loading the opening cutscene - "An unhandled exception at address [insert error number here] occured"
* Wouldn't recognize the DS4 controller plugged in to the computer

Mind me asking how you got your game running without encountering problems?

so I'm only using keyboard and mouse, no mods, I'm running this on linux (but it has previously worked on windows), I am guessing that a mix of the mods and the DS4 controller is causing at least 1 bug somewhere for you. I haven't had any issues with the missing resolution mode (though I don't play in that resolution).

Have you tried playing with KB+M instead?

I have this issue too

So the modder updated it. This is what I did: backed up my save files, deleted the VC folder, verified integrity of game files and redownloaded everything, including the updated mod, then put my save in the userfiles folder. I booted up and started the Avery missions, no issues.
